The article focuses on the prevention of heat-related illnesses based from the recommendation from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It says that the best defense to prevent heat-related illnesses are to drink plenty of fluids and to stay cool as much as possible. It recommends the drinking of plenty of water or other non-alcoholic fluids and not to wait until thirsty before drinking, staying indoor, and wearing lightweight, light-colored, loose-fitting clothes.
