The article discusses things that massage therapists should consider when providing services to a transgender client making sure they meet and honor their client where they are. Topics covered include the significance of always using the name and pronouns a client identifies with to show sensitivity, the need to ensure that massage eases gender transition and showing to clients that their body, regardless of how far they have or have not transitioned, is worthy of care.
