      The article offers tips for massage therapists for their self-care exercise aimed at preventing overuse injuries. The Massage Therapist Self Care and Wellness program recommends applying a topical analgesic before exercise to help reduce muscle pain, tightness and trigger points. It is important to remember three cues while performing any exercise: maintain proper posture, continue breathing during each repetition and control the exercise throughout the motion.
