Background: The objective of the research was to compare the chosen variables (activities of daily living) in the level of the Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC) in patients with dementia. Methods: The Student's t-test for two dependent samples was used to compare the results obtained in two measurements. Results: After the second measurement, the findings were insignificant in the whole NOC sets which represented specific activities; the findings were significant in the individual indicators of the activities. Conclusion: The chosen NOC sets are suggested as the effective tools of care for more specific management of selection of nursing interventions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
