    • Abstract:
Presents information on the Buddhist retreat for spirituality in Thailand. It informs about the popular Suan Mokkh Buddhist retreat at Chaiya about 600 kilometers from the south of Bangkok. It is not far from the busy commercial centre of Surat Thani, which lies on the coast nearest koh Samui. The monastery was founded by Buddhadasa Bhikkhu in 1932 and is well known in Thailand and overseas. Buddhadasa developed a reputation as a bit of a mover and shaker after extensively researching and then implementing his vision of the pure Buddhism, which existed centuries ago.
